    The ITIL® Foundation certification is…

….not what you're offering; you're just offering some practice exams and videos. Can you take "certification" out of the title, please?

  • Do we get the pins if we complete it?

    • What do you mean by pins?

      • +1

pins and pincils… (zolinger is a Kiwi)

        • Nope, true blue Aussie right here jv. Pins - if the deal was for certification, those who pass earn pins. I think the color for the foundation is emerald.

    • No. It's not a certification - it's just some practice exams, and maybe some videos.

You'll still need to take the exam to get certified.

dont need to pay any for Foundation study besides exam itself, a weekend of full time study is enough, or if you're feeling lazy memorize on the sample questions and answers pool freely available online, for the last few years it still remains the same pool of questions. At least for V3

    • Getting ready without a training is waste if time. You wont be sure what to study how to practice etc.

Our pass rate for itil certification exam is 99.6% after taking our itil foundation certification online training.

JV, I think there might be a udemy course on grammar for beginners that you might find useful. (If you want to keep helping people write using proper grammar).

    • Hi, we did not set an expiry date for the moment. But it is better to get it as soon as possible.

Fill your brain with fluffy words and complicated garbage.
The fundamentals of it are mostly common sense, layered with all kinds of irrelivant terminology and garbage. Half of ITIL is just to perpetuate more ITIL I'm sure of it. If you don't speak the magic handshake you're not part of the club.

I miss IT before this kind of stuff sunk its teeth into it.

    • +1

I just cannot agree more. But it seems sometimes just impossible to get through HR who won't even look into your resume if there's no fancy meaningless certificates like ITIL or such… Even work experience doesn't help.

      • ITIL is one of the easiest IT exam to get thru so its one of the quickest one to get thru HR if they need, sure its blabbering rubbish but thats how the world works

        • It's not dead simple and when applying for a new job or interviewing you may be caught up with a tricksy ITIL question or even miss the interview if your CV doesn't have enough ITIL fluff plastered through it. Ugh it's gross.

      • +1

Yep I LOATHE it and I'm so technically minded or have been in the past that I find it quite difficult to memorise this abstracted layer of idiot bull@#%$ to talk about fundamental damn technical problems, but I need to "remember the right speak" to convey things or no one understands me.

Only it's permeated so deeply within management / team leader layers within the industry in the past decade that it seems MOST people speak it, it's only amongst direct, other nerds can you still maintain a standard conversation about stuff. It's ghastly.
