    IMHO If this is being ceiling mounted, then trying to get any real definition would be less than ideal. Especially if you want to digitally zoom on someones face. As a minimum I would consider 1280x960 if at all possible. However; if just used as for general viewing, then I guess price is cheap enough.

      It is a SPHERE, so you can rotate it into any direction before you lock it into position.
