KitchenAid Stoneware Varieties from $10 + Delivery ($0 Gold/Platinum Member/ C&C/ in-Store/ $99 Order) @ MYER

1750

Perhaps leftover from the Coles promotion earlier this year. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/838293
Excluding the cast iron products. Appears to only have a couple of options online, but more availability in-store. Small, medium and large baking dishes, with and without the timber lid, all available in-store (Belconnen, ACT), when I visited. Also little round one with lid and the flan dish. I’ve checked random availability in NSW & VIC and showing as available online in those states.

listing says: Fabrication: Stoneware, Cast Iron

Are these ones redeemable from Coles Masterchef points earlier?

    • Myer doesn't accept MasterChef points as payment

  • +1

These are really nice, smooth and a nice weight. Grab one and the bowl with lid if you need, got given one, tempted but decluttering :S

  • Am I correct in assuming these don't have a non-stick coating?

Can't find anything on the internets.

    • +1

Usually stoneware don’t come with non stick coating but the pans and stuff usually do. Ordered the stoneware as a result

Thanks OP, wife is happy with these to replace the glass one that I accidentally broke

    • +3

Lol, negged for genuinely thanking OP and being truthful. Good stuff

      • +3

Yup, there's some really salty people around here nowadays and for no reason too!

        • +3

          Maybe it was the wife?

      • -7

Hi friend. Didn’t neg you and don’t know why you got negged, but some people probably think that “wife will love X kitchen or home appliance” type comments reinforce antiquated gender stereotypes. Maybe it’s an age thing but I’m a young bloke and honestly I find such comments a little outdated too. I’m sure that wasn’t your intention of course.

        • +4

I simply stated that I broke one of my wifes dishes and that she liked this as a replacement. No further meaning than that. No stereotype assumed, just honesty and fact.

If people are reading more into it than that, that's their issue, not mine.

And btw, I'm not exactly old either. Young people can be married too, but I get your point.

Anyone know the size of the medium?

    • +4

31x18.5x6 cm according to this ebay listing

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/186586377781

    • +2

From the link in the OP it says the medium baking dish is 30cm x 18cm.

    • Dimensions already mentioned by others. I just picked up a couple, they are certainly not big and was hoping for a large but they were all gone by the time I got to Myer. Just tested and you can fit two medium in a standard oven side by side which is what I was after.

      • +1

I don't think there was ever any large. I checked stock 50 seconds after the deal was posted and never showed large.

        • +1

OP mentioned there were large instore and the I store pricing sheet states large as well, just not available online.

          • @Seaman Jones: My bad. You're right he did. Never saw the large listed online for pickup instore, would of liked one.

  • Does the website allow you to click and collect to a store near you? For me it’s all sold out anywhere in or around Sydney and won’t let me choose a nearby store to C&C

    • +1

It says they will transfer to store near you but I couldn't make it work unfortunately

    • I got several online and it let me select to click and collect in Adelaide Myer Centre

      • Not allowing me to do that unless the store stocks the item. Weird.

  • +2

I had one of these, but the stoneware cracked in the oven. So, I wouldn't recommend using it as cookware but rather as serving ware.

  • +1

Stoneware of both the small and large have cracked since the Coles promo, didn't last very long
