If you buy in cash you'll effectively be paying $2.50 as the 49cents is rounded up. If you buy 5 packs you'll stack up enough savings to score 5 cents :D

Actually if you are paying cash you only have to buy 3 to save 5 cents. 3 X 2.49 = 7.47 will be rounded off to 7.45 and you save 5 cents.(Again: only works if you pay cash)
I'm pretty sure what grasstown was pointing out is if you buy only one, it'll still be cheaper than Coles, since Coles has them at two for $5 — i.e. you have to buy at least two packets before getting the discount.
