How much do you normally sell this for ?

  • Rep. Is the RAM upgradeable?

    • Sorry, the RAM is not upgradeable since there is no slot for extra ram, but you can upgrade the hard drive.
You can swap the normal hard drive to a solid state hard drive.

Swap to 240GB SSD will only cost you extra $109.Thanks a lot.

  • Rep do you have something under $1000 FHD 15" i7 6500U+ 2 gb graphic?

    Sell er on .. :-( .. !

  • Hi, can anyone help? I'm really clueless with computers and the specs mean nothing to me! Which is better between this and the dell listed here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/250595
I'm just after a cheap laptop for browsing the internet and doing some college work. We currently have a HP but it's gotten really slow in a short period of time and the battery is dead so it only works when plugged in. Any advice would be appreciated!

    • The Dell is 100x better. But the hard disk is smaller ie less storage. But much faster.

Go for the Dell, no doubt.

      • dell is a 11.6" screen.
where as this one is 14"

my preference is for more screen real estate.

the HPs ram should be upgradable to 4gb.

        • True. If you're going for a bigger screen go for the HP. If you want performance, go for the Dell.

        • @tonytone: exactly, at this price you can have one or the other. personally, I find Win 10 pretty good. faster than win8. so the HP with win 10 would be suitable for web stuff and uni work. especially if an additional 2gb was installed.

    • This particular machine is about as powerful as an LCD picture frame. A very old slow Celeron with 2GB of RAM will not get you far. Better off looking for something with at least 4GB of RAM on the eBay 20% off sale. $300 buys you a new machine with 15.6" screen and 4GB of RAM (shipped). Spend a bit more if you can to avoid a Celeron CPU.
