Hi all, seems like all the price drops are pushing mvno to give more for the same money.. This plan used to give only 2.5gb and no international minutes.
Lebara uses vodafone 3g. If you don't need 4g and can't be bothered moving around this is a decent deal. First month is $15 if bought online.
Lebara 5GB Unlimited Calls and SMS (up to 150 Minutes International Calls) $29.90

Why is that?
$30 only gets you 3GB of data and no international calls.

It is 4G speeds now however but other than that, Lebara's new offering gives you more for the same money.
Does anyone know any other provider (on any network) that will give you unlimited calls and 5GB data (and no contract!) For $30 or less?

I'd go this for 3 months unless you really need the international minutes.
I am talking about this offer.

works out to be $24.33 /30 days
@techno2000: you prepay for a year with this one which means you take on counter-party risk with kogan mobile.
Given their previous shenanigans in their previous incarnation in the Telstra network, this to me is unacceptable level of risk.
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't take on such risk with ANY MVNO or even with the three physical operators.
But that's just me. :)
You had me at 5gb for $29 …….and lost me at Vodafone.
Does anyone know if I can recharge on this plan if I'm already on a 365 day lebara plan? Are their recharges cumulative?
Do you have a link to the 365 day plan?
can't seem to find a direct link, you just need to pick the plan you want and when you go through the purchasing process at some stage you get the option of 1,6 or 12 months. Alternatively you can call them and they will do it for you. They're customer service has always been very helpful.
P.S. to answer my own question, yes they do stack on the months if you recharge early, even if its with a special offer or different plan :)
I prepaid lebara for 12 months
The last time they upgraded the plans from 2gb to 2.5gb
They automatically upgraded everyone else
I hope my plans change to 5gbThat would be awesome
I prepay Lebara for 12 months
Unacceptable level of counter-party risk IMHO.
See my comment above.
Kogan's present offer is far better.
