I took this deal.
The way it works is the 500GB PS4 is taken as being traded for $250, and that is only the basic price. If you're on EB world level 3 you get additional 15% trade credit. I traded my old PS4 in before the release of the console and got $362.5 credit, being $250 x (15%+30%). Not sure whether the extra credit is a mistake by EB employee as the T&C clearly says that the 30% can only be used towards games not consoles.
I sold Doom UAC (RRP $99) pack and GTA 5 (RRP $50) that comes with the bundle for $100 on Gumtree.
So for $136.50 I upgraded my old 500GB PS4 to a limited edition 1TB PS4 + Uncharted 4 Game. Not bad deal though.
Plus 6 month Presto, which is worth….nothing I believe
My local has always said no to the eb bonus for trading in consoles.
Talk to the manager, they are always negotiable. If not try different stores.

Not saying it is a deal, but negs with comments like 'EB suck ass' from people who do not contribute to this site is not useful. If people think that is a valid neg vote, then we may as well scrap the voting guidelines altogether.
If people want to neg, go ahead but they need to follow the voting guidelines. E.g. Giving an example of what would be a better deal so other users can see what is better value, and gives the OP some constructive criticism, it is their first post after all.
