Not massively more but most ciders are 4-5% I think
We didnt make APPLEJACKS to knock you on the floor, and noone likes a sloppy mate.
But the extra kick of vodka cuts through that face-pulling sweetness you often get with other ciders - making it totally drinkable all night :)

Neither did I but I don't think we missed out on much it's just a syrup based cider go enjoy a real apple cider like Hillbilly Cider from Bilpin.

Just for the record, we only use finest quality New Zealand apple cider, New Zealand Cox Pippin apple juice / Jazz apple juice and 42BELOW Vodka in our cider.
There's no bulk imported concentrate here if that's what you mean by syrup. Hillbilly from Bilpin is a great drop, we totally agree but wouldnt want you to confuse APPLEJACKS with the swarm of cheap ciders imported from China etc.

Just picked some up, it's actually not a bad cider for one from concentrate (is it all from concentrate or just the added apple juice?) adding vodka seems to keep the sweet flavour and get rid of the weird aftertaste. I like it!
I got a pack of the ginger as well, I'll try that one next.

Love the feedback. The idea was for the Vodka to cut through the overly sweetness and sicklyness you get with some ciders. The cider is predominantly crushed apple cider based, with a little added Cox Pippin / Jazz apple juice concentrate (significantly less than the wholly concentrate ciders out there) and then cut with 42BELOW Vodka.
Let us know how you go with Ginger Jive! There's a cheeky nudge of spice in that one!
