Have you completed one yet?
I have done a few. They are a bit like free Kindle books.
Some of them are complete duds, written by someone just wanting to make a quick buck.
Some are written by 'experts' whose only expertise is in gathering info that is publicly available and turning into a course.
Some are genuinely good and you learn a lot.
If you want some really, really good free courses, hosted by real experts, go to futurelearn.com.
This is hosted by the Open University.
You could build a course in making these emoticons (。◕‿◕。).

You think I have time for a job hunting course with my full time Udemy course management role these days? These free courses do not add themselves.
Thanks EC.
Lots of dupes, already posted in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/246880, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/246880 and https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/247919
Can you specify which ones are dupes .
I run the titles in Ozbargain search engine before adding them to the list
Sure, happy to provide a community service:
Job hunting guide is in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/247919
Setting Up Your Business Marketing Within 30 Days is in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/244935
Photoshop for Beginners + Design a Logo is in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/244935
C# For Beginners: Programming in Windows Forms is in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/246880
That's just a quick lookup.
They are not going to show up if the entire title is not in the post.
What i do is i copy the entire course title in the ozbargain search engine and if it has been posted before, it shows up
Can I suggest you search more thoroughly then?
these posts already take over 20 minutes to compile.
Should be less if you don't have to add all courses in there.
Why don't you try compiling a list including searching the net for courses before making that assumption
Sure, it's easier just break the deal posting rules. Saves time.
feel free to report it
I did, seems that since there were 50 upvotes, it's not going to be removed.
@Martijn: You're quite rude and very pedantic. It's questionable that this breaks the "No duplicates" rule if ec's post contains plenty of courses that are not duplicates, surely? But you reported in hopes of having it removed despite the fact that many of us appreciate these posts? Wtf? What are you doing?
@rustafaria: Wait… it's rude to ask to follow the rules? Right…
I appreciate udemy posts as well but i don't need to see the same ones repeated. I reported it so the post could be edited with the dupes removed. Has happened in the past.
An SMB does not need to learn about MEAN… medium-large companies don't even utilise MEAN stack.
I would strongly recommend LAMP for SMBs. Does everything you need, open source and already has 1000's of easy to use software/plugins for it.
Honestly though, if you're a small business owner and your core business is not technology: outsource! Focus on your strength and your money making streams.
Thanks mate, lots of useful courses.
