Toshiba W15 Nano Wireless Mouse - White $8 (Was $47) @ Harvey Norman

500

A price drop on this mouse by HN. Can't comment on quality, but looks like a good price for a wireless mouse, and it's also selling for >$15 elsewhere

Alot of the time they come free as a bundle from suppliers, costing around $5.50inc , they are light and pretty cheap feeling, but ay for $8.00 that's alrite for the general public.

"but ay for $8.00 that's alrite for the general public"

Are you implying that the general public is cheap? :)

The Logitech M238 which is on sale for $9 is much better than this one, I recently bought both.

      The Logitech ones are ugly

      • +2

        Appearance is opinion.

    • Logitech ones are 1000 dpi, this is 1600 dpi.

      • Higher DPI doesn't mean much if the sensor is crap. Don't know if that's the case here.

It's a number marketing loves to throw around but doesn't really mean it's more accurate. (See also: the difference between precise and accurate.)

  • All wireless mouses are too heavy to move and makes my hand tired. No real bargains.

    • +5

Not sure about that - I prefer the larger / heavier ones as I feel they can be moved more precisely due to their weight. My 2 cents.

      • +1

Heavy is a good feature, along with the insane battery life that comes with it!

Maybe it's just a pro thing.

Interesting comment. I have found that mice with two AAAs were OK but AAs were too heavy although at the moment I've gone back to a wired mouse. Another important difference for me is the pressure required to click. There are heaps of variations with this between mice. I really like a mouse which requires a very small amount of force to register a click.

      First.
      World.
      Problems.

    • don't agree on "all". I got a bluetooth laser Toshiba mouse, extremely light.

You can get a mouse with power steering which reduces the work your hand does.

  • i have some of these which i got from catch of the day for $3 last year no complaints. Battery still going strong

  • Thanks. My sister was looking around for one for my niece to use. She's only 3 so she has tiny hands, but this will be perfect.

    • $3? Really? by google, I found it sold at $9.95 previously at catchoftheday.

  • Grabbed a couple the last time they came up. They are ok, just a bog standard wireless mouse. Good bang for buck at that price

  • Bought 2. Thanks OP

    • The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1

      • Who has only 1 email account these days anyway?

  • Is this better than the cheap wireless mouses for sale on aliexpress?

  • I bought one last time it was this price. Great and still working. It is very sensitive though comparing my wired mouse.

  • I bought 2 last time they were at this price. It was maybe 2 months ago and neither of them work anymore

    • Battery die? Otherwise, you can return to HN. The warranty is one year.

  • I picked mine up yesterday and used it for around 2-3 hours.
I was shocked to see something that was originally advertised for $50 have such low build quality.
I guess at $8 it's more worth the price haha

  • Picked mine up from HN after almost a fortnight. On the storage shelf there were still 3 others uncollected haha. Looks like ozbargainers are a tardy bunch.
