  • I am getting AUD 168.97 for the Jaybird's.

    • are you sure you selected 'Midnight Black' as your colour? It should come up as US$114.65 which is around ~$158 if you pay for it in USD with a fee free card.

      • Indeed you are right. Maybe my card does not have fee free.
        Order Summary
        Items: USD 105.99
        Shipping & handling: USD 8.66
        Total before tax: USD 114.65
Estimated tax to be collected: USD 0.00
        Order total: USD 114.65

Converting it to AUD using Amazon's checkout I get Order total: AUD 163.81 (using the slower delivery method).

Do people normally let their bank do the conversion or Amazon?

        • +1

Depends on the bank and the rates it charges, but people usually use their bank to convert because Anamazons rates are tereible.

Might be a good idea though to check out how much your bank charges first, so youll know which method to use in the future

  • Tempted to neg this deal coz your previous Samsung 128gb SD card deal was awesomer.

    • +1

      That's a slower card

      • +2

scyth3r is correct though, this Samsung PRO card actually is in the realms of 70-80MB/s write speed, whereas the previous 128Gb Samsung EVO would only be around 15-20MB/s. The other recent deal (SanDisk 128Gb) is also only about 15MB/s write speed according to Amazon reviews, so yes the card in the above deal is in a very different league.

    • You realise this is a U3 card right? its a pretty solid price for a card of these specs 90MB/s Read 80MB/s Write

      • +1

        Off topic a bit but I had a Q

Since everything is class 10 now with wildly varying speeds, why don't they introduce new classes, or drop the 10?

Put in class 20, class 50, class 100, etc. The 10 now means nothing.

  • Hi Lyl, good find on the SD card. The JayBirds are an awesome price too, but it was already posted in this deal earlier in the month.

    • +1

oh woops didn't see sorry, but I guess it isn't a dupe because the OP edited his post with the new price two hours ago (two hours after I posted)

      • Oh I missed that. Sounds fair. :)

  • looks like micro sd card price is crashing fast, maybe due to recent news about 256gb etc cards. i'll see how long i can hold out.

  • Seem to be getting error that it can't ship the card to my address.

    • Worked in the end. Just didn't work on the item's page.

  • Bought the X2. Thanks OP.

  • My Jaybird Bluebuds X (first version) very recently passed away. They served me flawlessly for around 3 years, but the battery has worn out and will no longer hold any useful amount of charge.

But I was happy with the use I got out of them, and easy decision to upgrade to the X2's. Perfect timing really thanks OP!

Wired earbuds are a thing of the past in my opinion.
