  Just got it today and the performance of this little thing is pretty much what most online reviews have said. It sounded great, the base is more powerful than what I expected. There is power behind the base sound unlike some claimed that there is no power, (ofcourse you won't get your room shaking). Yes this is true if you didn't wear it properly without a good seal. This means you'll only get good base with the foam ear piece. The other tips just doesn't have good enough seal. I have several highends headphones and comparing them to this little beast it's not too bad at all and after burning in a few more hours I expect it to get better.
  
  Comfort wise. Ue700 is very comfortable. I say this because I couldn't wear any other earphone especially the annoyingly big piece of s…t from apple.
  
  Worth the $130 on special? Hellyeah. Just don't pay full retail price.

Got my 2 x 220vi today.

They are excellent quality make and sound for the money I paid. I did a bit of comparison to my Super.fi5 EB listening to some Eels (few layers of sounds makes it not too bad to listen to).

Firstly I know there is a big price difference between the 2 so I wouldnt expect the 220vi to beat the 5s.

The 220vi's certainly have less clarity and crispness of sound, less atmosphere and sound a lot flatter, and also, strangely, play much more background hiss (even though i was using 256kb variable bit rate). The super.fi5 still sounds bloody fantastic. Real bass and feel, much more of a sound stage, the lows and highs and everything in between is so much sharper, and you can hear all the layers of sound. I would really love to get my hands on a set of 700s if anyone bought 2 and doesn't want 1 set, OR if LogitechShop happen to find a set behind their couch… hint hint.

As for fitment, the shape of the super.fi5's are much more comfortable for my ear, however it was an easier process to fit the 220vi's in the ear.

BUT…. for the price, the 220vi's are awesome!

My order got cancelled…

Sent them an e-mail about it on 5th May but still no response.

They must be a busy bunch. I don't think I'll get my headphones :(

    I found it quite ambiguous when it said
    
    "Only 2 of same items per paypal account is allowed."
    
    I thought "2 x ue700" was a package and considered ONE item. It allowed me to add quantity of 2 in the cart so I figured my logic was sound.
    
    In any sense the other pair was ordered on behalf of a friend. For convenience sake we put it all in the one order and preferred them shipped together.
    
    We could have easily made separate orders and separate shipping on the items.
    
    Seems a bit unfair… I wish it had been clearer or have the system not allow you to add 2 quantities on the "2 x ue 700"…
    
    Now my order is completely cancelled and it doesn't even seem even one pair of headphones can be fulfilled and my e-mail has still not been responded to… Dissapointed
