Honestly Mum! The one-handed keyboard is for gaming.

    • The best keyboard for post NNN.

Stupid slanted keys. The best part of a one handed board is not having to deal with illogical alignment

  • Been looking at the shrimp one handed keyboard but the only thing stopping me is the fact that it's wired.

Anyone know of anything like it that is wireless (not Bluetooth)?

    • You can get the wireless version for $68+GST from aliexpress:

      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005843678312.html

I bought E-Yooso from Amazon about 6 months ago and it has been going great so far.

      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09KC7K5NV

      (no longer available?)

      ali has them for $57+GST:

      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004082304735.html

You may be able to get them cheaper during the upcoming new year sales/coupons.

    • The Shrimp seems very expensive for what is effectively half a standard budget keyboard with no macro buttons, no software & nothing really to recommend it.

If you want small & wireless for mobility and don't want to go through AliExpress, the Royal Kludge 60 is $35 from msy & Umart. As a bonus it comes with the rest of the keyboard.

If you want something specifically for gaming the Razor Tartarus V2 is $129 on Amazon & the Pro version with analog keys is $159.

      • Yes, it is very expensive for that it is. I very much like the form factor though.

Thanks for the recommendations, I have a 65% keyboard already but was looking for something even more portable.

I will have a look at the razer ones, thankyou 🙂

        • I guess what I don't understand is what happens when you need to do something that requires the other half of the keyboard - e.g messaging friends, other players, etc…?

fwiw my 2nd thought is I can see a use case for people gaming on laptops, though I'm still in the negative camp on price & features.

The Razer recommendations may not suit you if your plan is to leave the keyboard at home.
Another suggestion is look on the 2nd hand market for a CoolerMaster ControlPad. Like the Tartarus Pro it has analog keys but doesn't use the same form factor.

If price is no object you might want to have a look at the Azeron Cyborg & Cyro controllers.
They appear to have a very steep learning curve but the payoff, according to users, is definitely worth it.

      • Razor ones aren't wireless though.

Is it left handed or Right handed keyboard .

    • looks like it's made for the left hand man (mouse on right)

incredible. chop a keyboard in half and sell it for the same price as a full sized keyboard

  • I've had one for ages, used it use it for laptop gaming before I started bringing a 60% keyboard with me. I'm fond of the Redragon stuff- use the Vishnu as my daily driver.

Any low profile versions of these? Previously had a Razer Tartarus and they gave me carpal tunnel.
