What kind of dodgy ass font is that???

How do I remove it then if I want to take the plate off??

Then again, who would steal a Hundai?

    • someone who wants to dump it after use.

I actually like Hyundais. I just like how Alec Baldwin and all Americans say "Hundai".

You know why, mister? 'Cause you drove a Hundai to get here tonight; I drove an eighty thousand dollar BMW. That's my name…

  • You're better off with not using standard flat-head or Philip type screws, like those used on some appliances and devices. This should stop most opportunistic except the more determined thieves.

I have heard of these special screws but then wonder whether the thieves would do more damage trying to steal your number plates if they need to try harder to wrench them off, rather than simply unscrew?

If my number plates get stolen, just get them replaced with new ones at Vicroads with no damage to the car?

A few people at work had theirs stolen (probably just for petrol drive offs), but just went to Vic Roads and got them replaced…

So yeah, I'm in two minds about getting harder screws.

    • Chances are that if you had one way screws installed with your plates, thieves would simply find another (perhaps easier) target as opposed to damaging your car, wasting their time in retrieving your plates.

    qualified technician

Stand back everybody, I have a screwdriver and I know how to use it.

  • I liked my license plate.
Had a chance to pick the ending digits from dealer years ago.
They only took my front license plate.

It was cheaper to get a new set of digits then have them reissue the license plate.

From memory, if you tell VicRoads the plates were stolen, they won't even reissue the old numbers too you.

Walked into the Popo station and asked for the safety screws.

Pretty sure cop shops have them handy to hand over the counter.

**This item always has been a freebie if you do it yourself

    • Do they also loan out the safety screwdriver? Otherwise I'm wondering how you're going to install them

      • A flat head is fine.
        It won't turn lefty loosie.

        Thus their safety screw
