I would not be buying giftcards from a company in serious financial trouble.
This looks like the Dick Smith death spiral.
In their defense, they spent alot of their money making acquisitions to date and there balance sheet looked poor due to their investment., and they ate still making multimillions.
I'd say you'd want to take advantage of surfstitch deals like these before the international corporate conglomerate "Swell" is released as a result of the acquisitions. With the presence it will impose, competition being scarce, being Swell may mean they can set the price bar as they see fit.
"they ate still making multimillions."
Actually they aren't making multimillions. They are losing multimillions.
The new earnings guidance implies a $10.9mn to $11.9mn loss in 2H16. They reported $13.9mn in 1H16 so we are looking at a $25.8mn swing in earnings in a single half!
Full year EBITDA guidance is $2-3mn vs. consensus which was forecasting $18mn and $7.6mn in FY15.
Could this be SRF's Dicksmith moment from Christmas?
Do they have to post the plastic gift card to you first? Or do they provide the barcode at the same time?
Can you stack this with the regular x% off?
Yep, this is on the payment step, not the cart step.
For anyone wondering, there is no CashRewards cashback when using gift cards at SurfStitch.
Where do we put the code in?
Lots of negative news from the company lately: http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2016/05/03/surfstitch-sha…
