        Stupid answers to a good question.

        1. OLED is still significantly more expensive for even 1080p, let alone UHD.
        2. This TV is WAY brighter than regular OLED TV so if you have a very brightly lit room it may be better than an OLED.
        3. Crushed blacks and blown highlights when brightness pushed.

        I bought a LG 55" OLED TV to replace a Samsung series 8 and had to return the OLED as it was not bright enough for my living room. It was a 4K model and its upscaling was terrible (awesome at night with 4K content tho)

        In the next gen OLEDs they will be brighter, but they still have a ways to go. In controlled lighting environments, with perfect 4K content, they are spectacular, but with good old Aussie free to air in a bright room they are not as good as the best LED.

        @dtpearson:Thankyou very much. I think Ill stick to the SUHD, but not curved. So sick of trying to decipher which was better and never finding them display regular TV content.
