I found this but I haven't seen a psp in store in a few years
I think there aren't many or any of most of these things left in stores since they arent coming up on the site's search.

    • Yeah I haven't seen a PSP for ages but there is definitely stock of the 3DS XL's, PS3 and Xbox consoles around. They had a huge pile of the White 3DS XL's at one stage when they had the bonus game deal going.

Hopefully people will find some deals and report back :)

xbone Halo is a nice deal, or the PS3 if you want a nice bluray player.

    • Both are blu-ray players :)

      • +4

Yeah I know ;). I should of phrased it a little different, what I mean is the PS3 is a nice deal if you just want a bluray player (+).

        • Just be aware that it's region locked. Whilst most blu rays aren't region locked (even when they say they are), DVDs typically are region encoded. If you happen to, say, buy Inspector Morse DVD box set and it's UK region then you can't watch it in a PS3.

Best to stick to a stand alone blu ray player for blu rays, and get the gaming console for games.

  • lol goodluck hunting for stock guys

Halo 5 console looks good. But I think my $219 kinect bundle from kmart was a legend.

  • Good price on the 3ds but lack of new features from the new 3ds. (I.e missing c-stick) does that matter for newer games?

    • -1

There's only been one "New" 3DS game I believe.

The 3DS brand in general, is just like the Wii U, is dead. The 3DS has some amazing games (Mario Land 3D, Pokemon X/Y), but during the last 12 months there's been no decent first-party titles.

Long story short, $99 is what they should be priced at now, don't bother with the "New" version.

      • I'm tempted to buy this 3DS for Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby or XY, but Pokemon Go (for Android and iOS) is coming out soon :(

Also I'm broke from buying lyl's SSDs.

        Anyhow, Pokemon Go Signup: http://www.kotaku.com.au/2016/04/australians-can-sign-up-for…

        • Pokemon Go would be totally different from the traditional one, it's more like an online version which you need to physically go around to different places with your phone which, not everybody will like it or bother to play it.

If you like to play it in the old way play the AS/OR XY or wait for the Moon/Sun which is due for release at the end of 2016

      • New has some cfw advantages

    • +2

You can't play the Super Nintendo eShop games on the old 3DS only the new one, that and there's a handful of games that run way better and are much easier with 2 thunbsticks. There's been some amazing RPG's released on the 3DS in the last 6 months or so by they way

      • You can't play the Super Nintendo eShop games on the old 3DS

Who would want to pay for SNES games on the eShop, when basically any phone can upscale them far better than the 3DS ever could?

There's been some amazing RPG's released

Besides Pokemon, I have no interest or time to sink into RPGs.

        • +5

You're comparing a dedicated handheld gaming console to a phone? LOL
Sorry to say but playing proper games on mobile phone is retarded. Angry birds and Fruit ninja is acceptable. BTW the touch pads sucks !!

"Besides Pokemon, I have no interest or time to sink into RPGs."

I am sure shit loads of other people have interest and time for it.

You do know you can plug controllers into Android phones right? Or Bluetooth? Welcome to 2011.

          Great.

        • @PainToad: This is what I did. Played pretty much whatever I could get my hands on with a ds3 controller via bluetooth. Mobile devices are so powerful these days that the only reason to buy a dedicated gaming handheld is for exclusives.

        • @PainToad:

I got a Xiaomi Blueooth Gamepad for my Nexus 5. With Slimport I play Pokemon on my TV (Or anyone else's for that matter). :D

"You do know you can plug controllers into Android phones right? Or Bluetooth? Welcome to 2011."

Well that defeated the word handheld and portability don't you think? The controller that plugs into the Android phone will be bigger than a 3ds for sure.

Are you going to carry your controller and play it on the bus or at the bus stop everyday??

        • +1

          @HandsomeMonkey:

You can get tiny controllers like the 8bitdo Zero, or NES30 Pro.

        • @HandsomeMonkey:

I use the MOGA Pocket, works well as a portable controller.

Also Nintendo are releasing games for the phones, so they think highly of them.

        • @PainToad: @HandsomeMonkey:

I have a Moga Pro. Turns my phone into basically a 3DS (Its a bluetooth controller that also holds the phone and is a battery back). Works like a treat.

Once again nothing in the Gold Coast, confirmed by Target Head Office

  • Nothing in target Melbourne cbd.apparently they stop making them.

  • No 3DS at Southland and Frankston

  • Could be one 3DS left in Wollongong guys. 1 was bought this morning.

    noob question:
    Xbox 360 4GB E Console $50 vs Xbox 360 250GB Console with Halo 4 + Tomb Raider $50
Why the 250gb is cheaper than the 4gb E?

    Thanks

    • it's not, they are the same price

      • +2

They look the same, but not. 1 of them has 4gb and no game, the other has 250gb and 2 games.
So the price is the same, but the content is clearly different.
Is the 4gb E version better than the 250gb?

Ps: I got negged for what @.@?

        • you will probably find the 250gb version is the E model as well
as to why they are priced the same - its probably some arbitrary floor price point that they don't go under for consoles

        • -3

Ps: I got negged for what @.@?

I negged you because your post doesn't make sense and neither does your reply.

          Xbox 360 4GB E Console $50 vs Xbox 360 250GB Console with Halo 4 + Tomb Raider $50

Why the 250gb is cheaper than the 4gb E?

It's not cheaper, they are both the same price.

          They look the same

They're completely different models, the listed specs don't look the same at all.

As for why the better model is the same price, they're clearing it out at whatever price they can flog it for.

Can't find any 3DS White/PSP SA wide so don't waste your time to call

    • is this a bluff? ;)

      • no man i called them and asked the lady to do a thoroughly check, nothing is nothing lol

  • This isn't the new 3DS XL is it? its different right

  • The lady on target stock check told me over the phone they had stock at flemington, dandenong and templestowe (although the stock check is on a 48 hour delay) so I'd recommend to ring ahead before trying any of these.

    • Do they still have the halo Xbox one at Pines target?

      • +1

I checked this morning at 9.30Am, apparently someone had came in early and bought it

    • Flemington doesn't have an electronic section - they don't stock it. I called

  • Bought from Blacktown store this morning was worth calling them. I was told Hornsby and Chatswood have 1 each. ( stock details are 48hrs old) but would be worth checking.

    • +2

      what did you buy?

      • +2

Opps.. Bought the white 3DS XL console. Sorry it's my first time.

    • All Gone now… called around to Highpoint… none - Airport West - never had any. Think they are all gone now :(

Homebrew is easy to install on 3ds now. Google is your friend

  • No stock in Perth CBD, just called.

  • +1

Picked up 3DS XL, PS3 and some games. Thanks OP. It's still worth looking in store as someone didn't pickup a PS3 on hold and it was placed back on the shelf, lucky for me I guess.

    • Hi
      Where did you got?
      Thank you

  • Can someone link me to an r4i card for the nintendo 3ds xl?

  • Bit of confusion here, not that it matters as They will be hard to find, but is the 3dsXl on sale @ $99, the new 3dsxl or the old one ?

  • +1

Does anyone know if there is a way to download free games to play on the 3DS? If so, is there any risk of bricking the 3DS?

    • way to download free games to play on the 3DS

      Yes.

is there any risk of bricking the 3DS

      Yes.

Picked up a 3DS from Dandenong Plaza 1 hour ago.

    None in Adelaide xD

  • +1

Melbourne City are out of the 3DS. Neither JB nor EB would price match… the EB guy was really condescending and rude about it.

  • I just got a 250gb Xbox 360 for $50 but it wasnt in a bundle, just the console itself. Surprised I got one :D

  • Target Northland doesn't have this, just rang - the guy said they'd never had it.
