  5% not a fantastic deal.

  Better to buy BigW / Woolies Groupon eGifts when they are 7.5% off and purchase Myer cards from them I think. That's what I did last time.

  You cant always buy gift cards with gift cards.

  The way the Myer gift cards used to be able to be purchased was around christmas time when they would give an extra 10% back. This used to give you 9% off anything at christmas at Myer and was very good for buying Apple products when they were on sale and combined with the Myer One card bonus, giving even more.

  Now to get 10% bonus, you need to use the christmas club and put regular savings that you receive as a gift card prior to christmas.

    From personal experience, you can buy branded giftcards such as Myer using an eGiftcard at Woolworths.

  Myer egiftcard to be purchased online, but cannot be used to pay when shop at Myer online sounds a joke to me

    Exactly! Was going to use some rewards points online for a MYER eGift card till I read the fine print that the eGift card couldn't be used online. Had to laugh…
    Exchanged the points for another eGift card instead.
