Was at one this morning in VIC and it has the posters etc up..Not advertised on the website yet as it appears to have only started a few days ago.

Not a huge fan of doughnuts or cakes, but reading this does make me feel like buying a krispy kreme ..
No thanks. I boycott krispy kreme because they (rightly) changed their recipe in the US to remove transfats from the recipe. However they have continued to use transfats in their recipe here because they arent required to change it. Poor form.
Serious question, how does one find the nutritional (or lack of) information for these donuts? Who is their supplier for them?
Apparently they have only reduced trans fat levels to 0.5g per donut, enough to be able to advertise as "trans fat free". Pretty sneaky if you ask me, pity they are just so delicious!

these are the same donuts you can get in a box of 4 at safeway for 3.50. less for end of day sales. Def not the classier ones you find in a 7/11 in Asia.
Tasted horrible and plasticky the last time I got two one evening. Waste of $2. Should have gotten only 1 to try…sigh..

That's the great thing with these offers. Experience tells us that we are going to be disappointed with these/most donuts. They generally look better than they taste (too sweet, too much icing, not enough jam, etc) but our cravings get to us every time. At least with these sort of offers we only waste $1 to satisfy the craving ;-)
I had some time to buy in Sydney CBD yesterday and was hungry so decided (after getting two refills of a softdrink at Subway) to wander around looking for a 7-Eleven for a $1 donut. Even at $1 I felt like I had been ripped off! Crap donut! Why bother eating something unhealthy if it doesn't even taste good? I should have got an apple, they were only 80c!

I also saw this offer at one of the 7/11s in Brisbane City on Thursday :)
