    Inkjet? Well then…

  • Inkjet for $148..me think not..

    • It's not just an inkjet printer it's also a scanner/copier with a dual CIS scanning technology which means it can scan 2 sided scanning at the same time and a fax machine. This being an A3 printer also are always way more expensive than their A4 counterparts. Not all multi function printers can not only print on A3 paper but also scan both sides of a paper at once.

  • Not bad. The others here just aren't the targeted market. Don't know where these people can find a colour printer than can do A3 (albeit a bit tedious).

  • Also worth pointing out that the duplex scanning is single pass double sided scanning. It is well worth it's price even if you are just buying it for it's scanning abilities.

  • Have had this machine for a year. Its a fantastic All in one for home use. High Capacity inks actually make using the official inks viable if you are relatively low use. Has apps to direct email scans to you amongst other great features. The A3 support is fine, you can set up one of the paper trays for A3, it just hangs out forward a bit.

    • Does it scan A3 size papers?

According to the specifications, yes it can scan A3 size paper.

Would be stupid to design an A3 MFP that could print at A3 but couldn't scan at A3, now wouldn't it.

  • I take it this is not a flat-bed copier/scanner?

  • What's the difference btw this printer and the Brother MFC-J6920DW

    • For what i can see the MFC-J6920DW can feed 50 sheets through its ADF and this one here in this deal can feed 35 sheets through the ADF. I can't see any real other difference other than the cosmetics. For better bang for the buck in my opinion the MFC-J5720DW model from this deal is better (for the fact that the MFC-J6920DW model costs over twice as much for no real better advantage that i can see).

  • I suppose that one thing you've got to take into account before purchasing an A3 printer is that the A3 size paper is expensive costs twice as much more than A4 paper. Cheapest A3 500 sheet ream at Officeworks is $9.98. http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/keji-80gsm-…

    • Since A3 is the size of 2 A4s i would expect around 2x the price though it seems that
      Keji A4 = 3.09 (0.62c per page)
      Keji A3 = 9.98 (2c per page)

So its actually over 3x the price.

Having said that its not like it only prints A3, you would print A4 normally then when needed print to A3, so the price difference of the paper is largely irrelevant as it doesn't affect the day to day running cost.
