    Trent86 never sleeps… Lol

  • Its cheap but would it be powerful enough for home jobs? Or should I get electric one only?

    • get rechargable.
      its a lot more convenient.
i use makita gear - not sure about this brand.

    • +2

      Yep it will be sufficient

    • A cordless is best option as first drill, far more convenient and can manage most tasks.
A mid sized corded with hammer feature is good for heavier use, but just get one when needed.

Can anyone comment on how good these are? I can't seem to find any reviews on these..

Think for $39, it's worth the risk. And if it's crap, masters returns are pretty good in my experience

      • -3

masters return are crap compare to bunnings…..(personal experience)

  • Can the 10% off for subscription used instore or is it only online?

    • Only online

      • Can i use 10% discount by subscription along with 5% ww gift card and 2% cash rewards?
        Ty

        • I don't see why not

        • @HunterOfBargains20: thank you. But i tried sign up twice and haven't received any promotional code nor confirmation email about subscription. Already bought one. If i get the 10% code i might buy another one just in case Masters closes.

        • @a2swin: probably best to contact [email protected] with your account details

        • Hi you motto says that if order placed before 12pm and collection is same day but it never happens. Last time i placed an order it took me days to receive a message of collection and that is after constantly hammering your customer care. i have placed another order yesterday and hoping you are going to any better

        • @sakg: hi sakg, you are correct, that is how it should work, I know you shouldn't have to but I would suggest giving the store where you placed your order a call to find out the status of your order.

        • @HunterOfBargains20: They say they haven't received my order. It is always stuck with your click and collect team. It was same as last time as well

        • @sakg: then call 1300337707 or email [email protected], they will be able to answer why your order is delayed

Buy 2 so you then have a spare battery :) (and a spare cordless drill)

  • Actually wouldn't surprise me if it's the same place that makes the Rockwell ones for SCA:

      Thats what she said

      • Beats using my hands

        Nah, that's what he said…

        • You two read my mind

  • Doesn't appear to come with any drill bits. Can anyone recommend a cheap set?

    Cheers.

  • Apart from sikkens, can anyone recommend a decking oil for merbau decking that gets full sun?? - one that I can get 20% off at masters

      • So what's the latest Hunter with Masters? I heard some guy had an idea to rebrand the whole lot to home timber and hardware because it's a known brand or something

        • I wouldn't listen to him. Did you read what he said. I have never heard a more vague comment in my life.
Masters is actually headed in a good direction already, it just needs a bit more time.

        • @HunterOfBargains20: Are stores still restocking shelves?

        • @TRENT86: of course

        • +1

@HunterOfBargains20: Good to hear, for me I would want Masters to do well because I don't want 1 big player as much as I like bunnings

Thanks Trent for posting this deal. I pulled the trigger and purchased as my ozito drill keeps eating batteries, and i prefer masters over bunnings these days anyway. Also added the leather glove deal to my order and applied the 10% off signup welcome discount.

  • Hi. Tried to order paint online, but my 10% sign up discount doesnt seem to be working for paint. It works only for the other items in the cart. Doesnt the code work on top of existing offers ?

    • Paint might be excluded, does the 10% off sign up have terms at bottom?

      • +1

yeah. it says "Promotion codes may not be used in conjunction with any other offer." So I think it might exclude other promotions. Thanks anyways.

I bought one yesterday, used the drill to install Linkable Fluorescent Light, quite good for this price.

with my 10% off gift card purchased from BigW and 10% sign up discount , essentially only paid 39x90%x90% = 31.59

Picked one up today, alot better than i was expecting. Bargain at $39.

  • Thanks for the feedback guys, keep them coming :)

  • i just bought plenty of stuff from ikea and it's all DIY.
this will come in handy. can you please recommend a screwdriver/allen key set.

  • Ordered 10l of decking oil and some other stuff for click and collect, they called me today and said they had no stock and asked if they could "transfer the order to another store 2 hours away!"

    Way to go Master's
