The protein powder is a little gritty but not bad mixed with a banana….and vodka.

      A yellow Russian

    • Bought one when it was $5 - the so-called 'vanilla' protein powder is terrible IMO. It just doesn't mix well (even when using a blender)

      Sticking to my Horleys instead.

      • Yep, thats the one i got. Its been hard to get rid of. Should just use the bin.

      • +4

        But it has ancient grains!

        Whatever the heck they are

        • Growing for millions of years and then picked for only the best protein powder

  • +5

Isn't this only for Losers ?

    • +9

Only for those who frequently go Commando

        I see what you did…..Paid.

Do yo know why MB has the physique she does? Because she sells this stuff to the masses so she can afford quality healthy food and tons of exercise.

    • +1

lol…. is this like the which came first, chicken or egg?
did her brand come first or did her physique?

    • -2

It's pretty easy for women, just count calories. It's free.

      • +1

        yikes

    • She gets it from plenty of sex too!

Only salmon oil and multivitamin are available southport. Nothing else on the $2 stand.

  • Bought the breakfast sprinkle at Moonee ponds. Short shelf life though - best before 1 April 2016. Probably why it's been so heavily discounted.

    • Oh yeah, and as OP said, discontinued lol

  • +2

Another bargain bin MB product. She should just send the shit straight from the factory to The Reject Shop.

  • Will I be a better person after buying this stuff? I want a good soul which I think is currently described as "wellness"

    • yes, yes you will.

  • +11

We can only hope that Michelle Bridges the person is also now discontinued.

  • Belmont WA has none in stock at all.

Hate when I see the 'whole foods' and 'ancient grain' crap on products that essential means nothing. Same with the antioxidant buzz word.

For $2 meh might be worth it?

    • I reckon buying real 'whole foods' and 'ancient grains' are worth the $.

  • Are actually any of these products worth it? Bit confused with all the negative comments above :P

  • Went in an hour ago when the deal was just at 1 vote and found no protein around Melbourne metro (1 tub at Chadstone was showing up on the system), but there's heaps of the supplements around, BUT THEY WERE ALL PAST EXPIRY!

    • The price has been 2 dollars for about the past fortnight :)

    • +1

You sure it wasn't a 'best before' date?

An expiry date on a supp seems unlikely, and would be illegal to sell.

      • +1

I'm a fool, I thought it was next month for some reason.

They were all set to expire in early April.

        My mistake!

  • Not uncommon for them to sell vitamins past the expiry date
Once sucked in .. No returns
I am like call the staff whenever I see items past expiry date and make them remove from their shelves, And yes I am talking about the expiry date not best before

    • if they are past the expiry date you will get a refund…. the stock can be credited back.

      • +1

Funny that they said no refund on vitamins and I could not be bothered going through the aisle that they were still displaying it
I was after a particular vitamin three stores check they all expired in last too months

  • +3

looking at the ingredient list of these products its pretty clear that most of these items consist mostly of bullshit marketing. Her "sit back and relax pills" have got nothing on a simple bottle of beer.

I did some research recently regarding expiry of vitamins as I had a formula in my drawer I wanted to take again. The Best Before date is the date they guarantee vitamins will be at the full potency advertised on the bottle. After that date the vitamins may reduce in potency due to age. So technically you can still take expired vitamins, there is just no guarantee you will be getting all the mcg/mg advertised. So in this regard, maybe take a punt on those expensive expired vitamins, and replace any cheapies. Knowing this, definitely saved me from buying a new bottle. Obviously, this applies to tablets that have been well sealed and stored in a cool place. I have no idea about using expired protein/greens/superfood powders.

    • Then should go the catch of the day very close to expiry and sometime they are more than 70% off

  • i'm pretty anti-supplement (alot of it's BS - even Vitamin C for the most part!) but for $2 may as well haha. got some vital greens and 'immune booster' expiry 9/2016 and 5/2016 respectively. only stock they have at the indooroopilly store. cheers sencibel :)

  • In Brisbane I called up and all stock from the stores are cleared out for protein powder ..
