    Here's one of the cheapest 480GB SSD — OCZ Trion 100 for $159 from MSY. However with reputation of OCZ and reviews online, I doubt many people would bother.

        The only two OCZ SSD's that i had in the past also failed. I've since been using a Crucial M500 240GB SSD for a long time and it's still going strong. Not sure about PNY SSD longevity since i've never had one.

    Seems this is the equivalent of the Sandisk Ultra II or Samsung 850 Evo. Personally I've found PNY stuff to be good build quality and pretty fast - never had any problems with any of their products before, so I've pulled the trigger on this one since I had some Amazon credit and need a new SSD for my HTPC.
