Just recieved an email saying I can get $30 AUD off the price of flights to and from Australia with Scoot. Here's the conditions from the email:
Travel period:
16 Mar 16 – 23 Mar 16; 29 Mar 16 – 23 Jun 16; 19 Jul 16 – 14 Sep 16, 11 Oct 16 – 20 Nov 16
Blackout periods may apply over school holidays and event periods.
Sale period (GMT+8):
0400hrs 15 Mar 2016 (Tue) – 1200hrs 15 Mar 2016 (Tue)
Scoot promotions aren't worth the email they are sent on, some how they wangle the price back up in the end. Ive done side by side booking for 2 separate people one with the promotion one without and the price was the same to the cent. I even contacted support and they gave some bull excuse. Their emails are just click bate. Their prices are good enough anyway.
I got suckered in last week when they had the promo for some flights. Ended up booking two seperate return flights this year for the base fare of $119 one way. Now whilst it isnt a bad price, it can hardly be called a sale price when it basically repeats every other week.
the best one was when they had the sale on 29/2. other than that, $119 one way (per > sin) seems to be the norm "sale" price.
They need to do 20% again.
