Where to buy cheap bags
Any comments if this is a better buy than this : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/238196
Apples and oranges. Do you want bags or bagless? I was looking at this compared to the dc37c. Went with the dyson. Just hate bags. Happy to wash filters. The miele is better build quality though.
what's the difference with 'Allergy' model ?

I asked the online chat people at miele. They had no info on it. It is only sold by good guys here.
I did find it on herehttp://www.miele.hk/domestic/vacuum-cleaners-1784.htm?mat=10037750&name=Complete_C3_Allergy_PowerLine_-_SGFA0I only went with the Bing Lee one as I thought I can only claim the free bags with models shown on Miele Australia website.
Looking at the flyer it says any Complete C3 though right?
Probably just the hepa filter.. which u can buy and install if u really want.
4 boxes of HyClean GN dustbags can be purchased from GoodGuys ebay for $85 before 20% CTECHIE ebay discount.
How much is turbo brush head seperately?
I don't think you can get one, unfortunately (if we are talking about the electric power head)… since all the cabling is missing.
Otherwise, you can get air driven head on Ebay for various prices, probably starting from 30/40 bucks.
I got a Numatic George and I did a bit of retrofit to use it with an electric powerhead. The only powerhead costed me 200 dollars… but still, if you have carpet, it may be a good choice.
Turbo heads available from Miele Shop: $145
http://www.mieleshop.com.au/stb-205-3-turbobrush-floorhead/p…That's a pneumatic one (air driven).
It depends on what the OP is looking for: pneumatics are, in general, significantly less effective than electric ones, unfortunately. The use the suction power to make the brush spin, so you don't get the same power than you'd get with a dedicated electric motor, and you lose suction capacity.
They are a compromise: still better that the normal head for carpet, anyway!
Wow, a bit pricey, couldnt i just get a generic one off webay?
Yes, I did. The $42 Ebay (at the time)generic unit waw virtually the same as the Miele except that the drive belt is a little thinner. It did fit the Miele wand and but did not clip-in like the Miele. That make no difference to its fit and use. When you have the turbo head (air driven), it becomes exactly the same as the C3 Cat and Dog Model. (No need for a powered head for this Vac- the powerful motor drives the Turbo head very efficiently)
This turbo kit could be useful.

Nah i need a heavy duty one because i have a long hair cat.
Where does it say free bags?
Also what is the C1 like? It is $299 - 20%
The free bags are via redemption through miele for purchase of the Complete series vacuums. https://m.miele.com.au/domestic/floorcare-2-3132.htm
I have ordered the c3 family all rounder. The all rounder is not listed on miele website for the free bag offer. The website says all c3 vaccums though.
Also, the Classic C1 is not part of the offer for free bags.
Thanks!
What about this vacuum: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Miele-09816590-S6-Pure-Air-Lo…
After adding the $85 worth of bags, it turns out to be quite similar?
i just purchased from good guys ebay the C3 Complete Allergy for $311.20 after ctechie discount. The only difference to the all rounder according to the good guys staff was that the allergy uses a HEPA filter whereas the all rounder uses a basic filter that needs to be replaced more often. the C3 Allergy is also a good guys exclusive. They also gave me the redemption form for the 4 years supply of bags so I see it as a better purchase compared to the all rounder. Good guys staff told me to replace the HEPA filer once a year with either the direct replacement ($55) or a charcoal one for the pets vacuum ($30). Just vacuumed the kids play room and it was rather powerful, much lighter and smaller compared to my old VAX.
This does not come with the turbo brush head. But the included head works well if you mainly have hard floor and less carpet.
