I have a my55t which is a model above with just a few extra features like bluetooth etc, Coming from a TomTom got to admit there is nothing as good as a TomTom especially the maps and the display, even with the latest maps and I travel interstate as well there are som many wrong turns that The Navman gives. TomTom is far easier to use and would say stay away from a Navman.
The speed zones, and school zone warnings are so inaccurate in the Navman MY50T, I had to listen to mine warn me for 7 hours on a drive up the QLD coast, with many 100km zones suggesting it was 70km the entire way (it kept warning me while turned off as well, a good feature if I were actually speeding!)…
Shortly after getting the Navman I bought the Tom-Tom maps for my iPhone and find I use it more then the dedicated Navman… I emailed Navman support over two months ago, but never received a reply, I'm just hoping they fix things in the next map update.
