  I bought the GoFind 60 during the last Anaconda sale. They are a fantastic unit, and fold up to a tiny package for the car. Definitely worth the money.

  I am new to metal detectors. What should I look at when deciding which one to buy? In general but not particuarly this brand I meant.

  Why this one didn't mention the depth of detection?

    One of the issues years ago was batteries. Very costly for some brands. Some rechargable.

    The quality ones used to specify descrimination. So you could adjust it to eliminate a lot of iron rubbish. So do these have advanced ability with this?

    Bluetooth and Facebook were not relevant.

    One thing people still do is search beach sand on popular beaches. I've heard they find quite a lot of lost stuff.

    You can buy cheap detectors for under $50, I have one. So what important advantage do these have apart from mp3 player and selling software?

  Geez jaycar have a couple of metal detectors and in this price range, their coil is a little smaller, soil penetration up to ~20cm. This one is a little harder to get any actual specs from 20 version.
