  The black forest torte has changed, I bought one last week and the store owner pointed out that it wouldn't be the same as ones I had bought before.

  In my opinion, the new one isn't as nice. The old one had whole pitted cherries inside the cake, the new one has tiny bits of cherry instead. About the same amount you'd expect to find if they had used cherry jam instead. My overall impression is that it's a chocolate sponge cake, with jam in the layers, and less chocolate on top than before.

  No cherries on top either.

    In NZ the Cheesecake shop sell a "Black forest gateau" it has no disgusting jam in it and is heavenly.

  Next time you're at a CheeseCake Shop, ask to see the novel-sized list of ingredients in each cake complete with preservatives, artificial colourings and all the other nasties.

    In one store in Brisbane, I saw they had a pamphlet holder beside the cash register, on the customer side, with these vouchers. So if you arrived without a voucher, you could grab a voucher in-store.

    This may not be true in other stores, but it's worth looking if you don't have a voucher. It may be at the back of the pamplet holder, hidden by cake price lists in front.

    This happened when the local store had a junk mail promotion happening at the time, the vouchers were the same as the one I found in my letterbox, with the same expiry date. I haven't seen the vouchers when they weren't running a promotion.
