  • $344 for a RN3P delivered with DHL/FedEx/ups. Not bad. I'll keep waiting though, waiting on a deal on an indian edition!

    • Has an Indian version been released?

      I'm guessing there's a difference in bands?

Would people recommend this one or the redmi note 3 pro?

I have this phone and its been great, the software gave me a little bit of trouble at the start but its a great phone, good battery life i always get a day and a bit…

      • What issues do you have with the software? How long have you had the phone for? Do you use the dual SIM?

        • I also have this phone and it's great.
I didn't like the Miui (Similar to the iPhone one), but put Nova Launcher on top so no problems there.

        • Never used dual sim.

It was more about getting use top the software as it was different than 'normal' android more IOS like…but i eventually got it…Great phone..

AS boredrandom said, theres no app draw its all on the home screen and the apps are ok, just took awhile. maybe 2-3 days learning curve…longer than any other phone ive had. MIUI is ok though, they are updating it next month.

        • I've tried the dual sim now and it is actually really easy to use.
When I'm calling or using the internet, I can choose which sim to go through with a click of a button.
I noticed it drains the battery quicker, but I expected that would be the case.
This is my first dual sim phone, so I can't compare it to any others, if you want more details, message me and I can send some screen shots.
As with other dual sim phones, the second sim is 2G only but I still find the speed is decent for normal browsing, facebook etc. (I'm using the second sim for internet only).

I am also wondering that. I have impression that Redmi is budget line while Mi is more premium line. But I could be wrong.

    • one thing that really attracts me to the redmi note 3 is the fingerprint unlock on the back. I'd be on this in a heartbeat if it had that

      • Same. Fingerprint reader, 5" screen, decent camera…take my money.

        • Have a look at Mi4s…

        • @XCelR8: I have, I just can't do a glass back. Nexus 4 and Xperia Z3 cracked and both had cases. Don't want to go back there.
