Gardeners will be able to exchange the old twist nozzle on their hose for a new water efficient trigger nozzle to help keep saving water in the garden.
All people need to do is to bring their old twist nozzle to their local Water Saver Garden Centre at over 50 locations across the state.
Find the Water Saver Garden Centre closest to you.
More than 14,000 trigger nozzles will be exchanged at nurseries across Victoria starting from the Easter weekend.
All Victorian households are required to have a trigger nozzle fitted to their hose when watering gardens.
The first 200 people at each Water Saver Garden Centre who already have trigger nozzles on their garden hoses will be able to a get a free water efficient tap connecter which can reduce tap flow by 6 litres per minute.
Premier John Brumby said more and more Victorians are getting back out into their gardens.
"We are giving away free trigger nozzles to ensure people are following water restrictions and continuing to use water wisely in the garden."
Thanks for the head up. Will exchange my old one :)
