Saw this one on sale for A$0.99 from A$4.99. Not as good as before but still a deal to use your rewards credit on.

  How's this different from Google Calendar or any other stock calendar app on your phone?

    For most people, stock calendar is sufficient. Power users and people with Samsung Note devices will definitely enjoy using this app.

    Also, it is 'German engineered'.

    But, the best thing about buying this app is part of what you pay goes towards protecting the endangered Mountain Tapir.

    I purchased this app a while ago when it was reduced to 20 cents and am very pleased with my purchase (thank you Google Opinion Rewards for paying for this app!)

  trying to avoid using any google apps gmail aside. are there any other good calendar apps aside from this one and business calendar?.

    Jorte Calendar can sync with other calendar servces, mainly Yahoo, and also has Social network integration (Facebook and Foursquare) for instance.

    and also Today Cal, but it's quite expensive. still based on Google calendar.

  I missed S-Calendar when I moved away from my note 3 and have been usign this app for about a year now. reasonably happy with it.

  Wish google cal had a monthly view widget.
