971

Just received an email this morning. This changes makes this plan even sweeter despite the plan expiry reducing to 28 days.

Can't seem to find a link directly to their website with this info through mobile.

Here's the info from the email:

we just want to let you know about some upcoming changes to your unlimited plan.

Your included data will be increasing from 5GB to 7GB. Plus, we've added unlimited standard international calls to 10 selected countries to your plan.

As well as this, plan expiry will be changing from 30 days to 28 days. You’ll still pay $39.90 per renewal and all your other inclusions will stay the same.

You don’t need to do a thing. These changes will take effect on [renewals from] 31 March, 2016

What are the 10 selected countries?
China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, NZ, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, UK and USA.

Referral program seems to have been shelved (for now?)

not much of a deal a you are paying 13 times a year with this 28 day months.

techguides did a good looking into this and yeh it looks like you save a bit but that extra payment kills thhe deal.

  • I ported from Amaysim to Internode NodeMobile plan for $40 with 7GB unlimited local and $300 worth of international calls.

Very similar to the new Amaysim plans but they are billed monthly; will save me a payment each year.

    • How is internode going for you, did they charge you setup costs, and are they Optus 4G speeds?

Aldi is not as cheap for 7GB, but they do have an intermediary spend level of $35 for 5GB if 7GB isn't really used. Otherwise Boost has 3GB + 2GB each weekend for the same price as Internode.

      • Yeh no problems, speed and service are the same as when I was with Amaysim on 4G. Both use Optus Wholesale; benefit for me is month to month billing and a consolidated bill with my internet service. Yes I did pay setup fee of $10.

  • Is unlimited international call included even for lower plans like 1.5gb plan?

    • Seems so

    • It's limited to the 10 countries specified.

  • Great deal for those who want international calls.

The $29.95 plan might be the best value for money you can buy.

But, Vaya's Power Plan L $24/mth for the first 6 months with $650 calls, unlimited text and 3gb is probably the better option.

  • No unlimited calls to Philippine. If only!

  • How does this 7gb Amaysim plan stack up against Vaya's $34/mth (first 6 months - then $36/mth onwards) Unlimited 7gb plan?

    • Compare it to Internodes 7GB plan.

  • Guys, I have just placed order for Unlimited 1.5GB Plan.

Use promo code UNLD50 for 50% off for 2 months.Verified the code on 1.5GB and 3GB plans. Not sure if this code works for other plans.

Use Promo code YTZF87 to get 1st month for $19.90. The next 3 months after that you get 10% off.Verified the code on 3GB plan. Not sure if this code works for other plans.

    • Why didn't you post this when you found it, yesterday?
Oh right because you only got the idea after I politely emailed you and you didn't respond.
You really make no sense at all.

      • +1

He did email me right after his post to see if I would update this post with the info - I suggested it would get more exposure as a new post. So he was just trying to be polite!

      • Regarding your post before..Thanks for letting me know - wasn't aware of the story. I guess, I'm just going to stay out of it.
