Just noticed this sale on aliexpress. The seller has a few other Lenovo phones. Pretty decent phone for the price. I'm typing up this deal on one of them at the moment. A fast and snappy phone with a great camera and great battery life - I'm very happy with mine.

  Amazing price for a great phone. However, camera is crap though in my opinion. No gorilla glass either. I'm getting $162.39 through the app with no valid coupons. Also, ignore the comments about the firmware, it will need to be flashed with an official one which is very easy, even for a noob.

  I don't know why but I cannot use my own mp3 file for the phone's ringtone.
  I'm thinking of switching to something else already but it's not even a year old……

  I had both (xiaomi note 2 & lenovo k3 note). I prefer Xiaomi due to better: camera, touch screen sensivity & rom development.

  Had to return mine after 2 weeks as it stopped turning on. Even before then it was quite buggy. Phone was lagging after just a couple of days use. Tried different Roms but nothing fixed it.

  My cousin also bought the same phone and is experiencing the same lagging issue. His screen is also unresponsive at certain areas. Personally I wouldn't risk it even at this price unless you enjoy bug fixing

    There was memory leak in earlier released of the FW. It should be fixed now. There are a lot of happy K3-Note owners out there. Go check Whirlpool forums!!

      there is a bug in the rom which causes touch problems, especially with the keyboard, it is fixed with custom roms but we have to wait till september for next update

    really any of these, just check what works and doesnt
    Keep in mind K50t and K40a50 are identical phones, they are just named differently due to region and the k50t comes with the chinese version of the rom which has spyware so flash the ROW rom onto the phone

    As far as stock ROMS go there are two. Chinese version and Rest OF The World Version.

  I don't know why some people don't like this phone, for the price it's amazing. It's super easy to mod and there are heaps of custom roms available. I used CM12 for the past few months which was very good but lacked features like tap to wake. The phone has an official 6.0 update coming soon. I'm currently using a 6.0 beta based rom and although the battery life is horrible the phone runs great…

  Honestly the biggest issue with this phone is that it doesn't fit in all my shorts.

    Agreed. Great phone. I run stock Rom and with medium/heavy get two days. On low power probably four hours. Tap to wake is so convenient too. only problem is the size in the pocket as mentioned.
