  • First time poster……please be gentle :) I haven't figured out how to put a photo in but ill get there.

  • no way a 50CC for 200, might be worth a look

Got to decide if I buy 1 or 2 for that price :)

      • Now I have a much harder choice, lol

I got one a while ago, it's not bad but be aware that some things make it cheap for a reason. I've had to replace a carby, fuel tap and throttle.. but in the long run it's damn cheap compared to other "brands".

Motor goes pretty hard for what it is, can push all 100kg of me no worries (not recommend though!)

      • The motor should be fine, scooters use a 49cc 2t; the clutch will probably be the weaker point in the drive train.

      • no wonder u had to replace everything if you put 100kg of yourself on it, lol

        • haha, it was for my little brother who is about 35kg.. but seeing how i paid for it i wanted a quick go :P

  • Postage for $60 for the bike, no stores i could find in nsw had stock. Bike has a 5okg weight limit

    • •Not available in stores in ACT, NSW, NT & WA - available online only. Guess $60 is a bit steep but you may be able to bundle with other items online?

      • Be worth it if you could bundle 2 ;)

    Reviews are not that good.

    • I agree I was thinking yeah why not, it's only 200 but after the reviews No Thanks

    • Thinking the same too.

Also think a few of the reviewers weigh +100kg, and the bike is limited to 50kg.

    • people have to remember these are brand new, they need to be run in.
9/10 people would put fuel in it and then thrash it and they wonder why it dies.
treat it like a new car, run it in for a few 000's km's and then take it in for a quick check up service and tighten.
I had an el cheapo one before and lasted about 4 years till my son out grew it, we maintained it as needed.
These guys giving the reviews obviously were over the weight limit and prob thrashed it from the get go.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago for $199 in store to use for getting around our small acreage.
I could go down the driveway, had to push it back up…… and it moves along at an estimated 25km/h on flat ground (I weigh 75kg).
    my ten year old lad who has a proper 65cc motocross bike enjoys riding it on occasion because;
    we don't bother washing it.
    he rides it wide open.
it's noisy as, sounds faster than it is.
have had carby leakage which I fixed by adjusting the float, but then it runs out of fuel so I must have adjusted too much.
they are of course built DOWN to a price, but if you think of it as a tester to see if your child likes bikes it's a cheap way of doing it.

just make sure you spend more on the safety gear than you are on the bike.

  • With ACT, NSW, NT & WA excluded, only VIC, SA and TAS can have it. I was about to look up what kind of licence and registartion is needed in these states, then found on SCA webpage that "just remember always ride the bike off road as it’s illegal to ride this bike on public roads and ensure the child is supervised by a responsible adult." So it's not legal to use it to transport or commute. Besides the comment says it breaks down in 1 to 2 hours.

    • You forgot QLD?

I just had a trawl through some of the sale items, not bad at all.

    Here's a really good one though… http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/TOOLP…

Toolpro stainless steel chest (ie ducks nuts), was $600 now $359.
Ball bearing drawer slides, non slip mats, gas struts in lid… just lovely.

This brand hardly ever goes on sale…. now I just have to find a store with stock!!

Worthy of its own deal I reckon, but part of this sale so will leave here.
    Very nice though.

    • thats a good lookin toolbox

    • No wheels. Table mount? Devastated.

Taller unit with wheels for the right price and I'm there.

      • The matching bottom half is of course NOT for sale at $800 :(.

        http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/TOOLP…

But sexiest toolbox set I've ever seen in my life though :).

        • Very nice.

Sadly, at that price I'll have to stick with my $50 ikea frame with various sized wire baskets ;)

Plus, with the ikea basket I get to keep the tools in the spare bedroom. Hehehe

        • @justtoreply:

hahahaha… tell me about it :)
