  • How big is it?

    • 458ml!

        That's an unusual size… Why not 500ml?

Made in the US, so it probably makes sense in oz (ounce)

They're exporting ice-cream from the US to here? Why not make it locally?

@jv: ahh the million dollar question, "why not make it locally" said every other industry.

You are aware of China, right?

          @jv:

Because it would cost a lot more to do that? Plus they're famous for manufacturing in Vermont, USA.

How can making it in the US and shipping it here be cheaper than contracting a local manufacturer ?

        • @jv:

          Economies of scale?

  • They are around 480 ml or so. Can't be arsed running to the freezer to look. :-p

As I said on another deal the other day, have a look at your local for store specific pricing.
I got 20 Ben and Jerry's, Maggie Beer, Homer Hudson and Connisuer tubs around this size for $1.80 each as the manager told the girl to get rid of them to make space for the new lines.

Couch potatoe is my favourite ice cream ever, I even pay full price for it once or twice a year!

    • I can imagine how bland potato would taste. Why do you like it?

      • Couch Potato flavour is described as follows "Vanilla Ice Cream with a Salty Caramel Swirl and Chocolatey Covered Potato Chip Clusters"

  • Have just been looking through their website, all they ice creams seem to contain egg yolk.

  • My local Woolworths are selling them for $10 on "clearance"

  • Anyone know if it scans at this price nationwide?
