This is the USB model as far as I can see. I have 3 of these drives and they work very well. The power saving features actually work and performance is spot on for what you would expect over USB2.

Having Googled around a bit today, this drive gets damn fine reviews across the board. It's quiet, fast enough, keeps cool, etc.
The look of the drive isn't my cup of tea but then I won't be wearing it on a chain around my neck or anything, so no big deal.
Picking one up tomorrow.
sweet although thas not the clikety drive is it , cause i have that problem been replaced and still ticks on boot

i think this is esata and firwire which makes it impressive for the price
