  • I just bought 1 yesterday for $27

    • I think these are cheaper

      • I knew :( Will return it and purchase it again :)

The absolute stupidity is that you can't even buy the ink cartridges for that low. Friend bought 3 yesterday, 1 to use and the other 2 keeping for the ink.

Just be aware that you must set it up via USB & PC even if only intending to use the printer from tablet/phone via wifi.

    • Inset this one via mobile app
      No issues

    • Any idea if it would work with a mac?

Do Macs even allow things to be printed? They seem such limited and incapable devices, and I have no idea why people bother with them!

But YES OF COURSE… almost every printer, hard drive, and other peripheral either works automatically, or has drivers to suit Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Macs are NOT actually that special, despite what some people might tell you :-)

I very happy with my mac and never have to worry about viruses and constant upgrades to security. And very simple to use even my granny has one :-)

        • Yes every printer would work with laptops if the software was there. The HP printer I currently own does not work on Mac as the software is outdated and thus, I'm unable to print or scan. As someone who is running Mac OS X El Capitan (newest Mac Os if you weren't aware), the printer is now useless and is just a brick.

        • We have an Epson Stylus printer (USB cable, not wireless) which is at least 6 years old and it works with my iMac and my husband's MBP (both of which are about 18 months old, currently running El Capitan) without any problems at all. Setting it up took only a couple of minutes and we receive software updates several times a year.

        • @yanman: yea well i havent had any issues ever on mac but my pc is plagued

  • You can set it up from a laptop and WiFi. Works no problem. Then once setup will work perfectly on wireless on your desktop PC even if it setup via lan. It doesn't come with a USB cable to setup anyway so this is the easiest way. I have one about 6 months and this is how I set it up.

  • Bought this for 39 , 50% drop
Oh well , next time rather wait
Still haven't got tickets yet been more then 3 weeks

  • how much are the ink? is it cheaper to buy 2 as spare ink?

  • Just bought another 3, 4 Canons NOW :)

  • Just bought the last one. Thanks op

  • Anyone has a snapshot of the price showing $19.50?

  • Thanks OP. Picked up one from Coorparoo, QLD for $19.50 - there were 3 units left.
Has anyone purchased the Canon printers from Coles and received their movie tickets from Canon?
Checked the T&C's and states that printers must be purchased from "Canon Australia Retailer in the Canon Australia Distribution Channel" and I couldn't find Coles on the list?
