ok, I see. I guess you are trying to draw attention to 3's 1G and 2G mobile broadband plans and not the 5G plan then.
Yes definitely a good deal! Many people sign up those mobile plans not for YouTube watching or torrent sharing, but be able to access data on the road. 1GB is actually plenty!

I wouldn't be signing up for a 24 month plan on any mobile data plan at the moment.
Expect most of the carriers prices to drop significantly over the next few months…
You can hope but if you look at broadband deals generally, they are actually getting worse (see www.whirlpool.net.au), as with mobile phone plans so I dont see how mobile internet will be getting better. Three has always led pricing over Optus Voda and Telstra so I dont see the other three halving their data plans.
