    10 minutes later received Cashrewards email, $4.80

    Got the e-gift card few hours later

    Feb 9 - $15 credit on my credit card.

    Anyone else had trouble ordering from Woolworths Online? I've registered for the Woolworths offer so trying to place an order today and it keeps rejecting the Amex card. Checked with the bank and they've confirmed there's no problem with the card, so I don't know why the order won't go through - maybe a problem with the Woolworths website at the moment?

        Yes, I thought it was most likely the case as I usually don't have any trouble with the Amex card - I'll give it a try later. Mind you, I do remember now the Amex was rejected when I was putting in an small online order (for the first time) with Discount Drug Store a couple of weeks ago, so used the Mastercard instead and that went through. Same as this time, there was no problem with the Amex card as I used it at the shops without any issues later that day. Maybe some websites just don't like to "play nice" with Amex sometimes!

          Some had a similar issue when ordering gift cards from DM, but I think they all eventually got their orders through.

          Just tried submitting the order again, with a couple of small items removed so the total amount was slightly lower, but same problem - card rejected, same error message. Again the bank has confirmed there's no problem with the card itself or my account and they can see that the authorisation from Woolworths has hit my account for the correct amount but has immediately bounced back (hence the error message) but the bank can't see any reason for it at their end and Woolworths seem to have no idea either, so I don't know what the problem is but it seems there's not much point in trying again as I'll probably just get the same result.

      I just completed my Woolworths Online transaction about 30 mins ago. Went through fine.

      Did it via Pricepal for $25 cashback deal instead of Cashrewards' $20 cashback. Also got 10% off and received free delivery. Check out this deal: $25 cashback

      Tipu, take up to 5 working days to credit to ur ac.If ur purchased it on the 10 Feb in the afternoon, most likely the credit will reach ur ac by tomorrow or Monday.

      I dont think you've thought that through…. you would be paying with gift card not your amex at the woolworths payment….

    For those who have already purchased some of these eGift Cards and used cashback sites, which one did you use? Asking because:

    CashRewards: Has a breakdown for different types of transactions, and says "3% for Gift Cards" (first I have noticed for a specific mention of cashback for gift cards)
    Shopandmint: Also has a breakdown for different types of transactions, 8% for "non-alcoholic beverages", but has no specific reference to "Gift Cards"
    PricePal: Has no breakdown whatsoever and just says "4.15% FOUNDER" (Founder level cashback from a recent Ozbargain PricePal deal)

    What did you guys use and what was the cashback amount you got?
    I note that some of you mention $5.60 or $2.40 (which is 3% of $80) for CashRewards.. How would you have gotten the $5.60 instead of $2.40? $5.60 is 7%! Pretty good!!

      I did all of mine through cashrewards and got the standard $2.40 (3% of $80) for each.
