This will make sense mostly to people who want to build some decent gaming capability in their low powered HTPC, home server or small form factor desktops (mini ITX, micro ATX etc.) with cramped internal space. Its very tiny with a product dimension of 5.8x2.7x1.5 inches and runs cool with dual fans. Powered off PCI-e slot and has a maximum power consumption of 60 watts. I use it in a HP Gen8 Microserver with an upgraded 250w PSU, 16GB RAM and Xeon E3-1230v2 (TDP 69w) processor. I am able to play most modern games at medium to high settings with 60+ FPS.

That's an upgrade price… can tell just by the URL. Upgrade 1 of their systems to that card
upgrade price mate, negative for you.
Read clearly before posting ;)
This price for this graphics card is basically average, and you simply won't find it less than $150 until it's no longer current.
As I clarified in my original post, this will make sense only to people with very cramped PC space and a weak PSU. For all others, there are perhaps better bargains waiting elsewhere.
On the HP Website the Gen 8 comes with a Xeon 1220 v2.
Did you replace the existing cpu with the Xeon 1230?
I ask because This ozbargain has a entry model at a good price.
I originally bought the base model with a Celeron processor and later upgraded the CPU as I needed more processing power. Celeron is ok if you want to run a basic file and media server. It can even do moderate Plex transcoding on the fly. Let me know if you wanted more specific information.
Pay an extra $100 and get a GTX 960. This card is god awful.
If you only play LoL/Dota/CSGO/WoW/etc.. you don't need a 960, especially when it has double the max power consumption. Different strokes for different folks
I have it now as a "filler" GPU and it works fine.
Been playing Fallout 4 on Medium/Low setting very succeessfully. The Gigabyte model was only ~150 at UMart/MSY when they had stock, so this isn't the cheapest ever. But this card is pretty hard to find nowadays, so +1
If anyone else is interested, and if I am correct in my understanding, this card has a HDMI 1.4 port so you will not be able to output 4k at 60fps http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/55701832
This is something I'm interested in even though I can count the number of video files I have that support those specs on one hand.
If you are interested in 4K video playback, an interesting choice is Nvidia Shield TV which has 4K playback at 60 FPS with HDMI 2.0. I own this device and am totally happy with it. Bought on special from Amazon for US$150+shipping including free remote.
Hey, just saw that the price dropped on amazon UK, roughly $16 cheaper than this deal
works out to be 89.07 pounds (~AU$170) delivered after VAT is removed in checkout.
I don't know much about graphics cards, so if you think this is a good deal, feel free to post it :)
Below looks same but cheaper?
