Just received this email as a Village Movie Club [VMC] Member

When you purchase tickets at @ $8 each (all categories) w/ $1 booking fee per ticket, valid for sessions between 11-17 February.

    $2 booking fee…I thought the point of buying online was that it didn't involve a person so it was cheaper for the company and us. Also can anyone figure out if candy bar prices are listed anywhere?

      Yeah…. only $1 per ticket but it's annoying. I don't think it applies if you buy the tickets at the physical box office, so it's like a tax for using their web site.

    Feel free to correct my neg, but my local Readings offers $10 movie tickets regularly and as a result so does my local village.

      Is this in Geelong, VIC, because that competition between Reading and Village is region specific. Most other Village Cinemas charge $17.50 for an adult ticket, so it's definitely a deal if you aren't in one of the areas you are speaking of.

      … although I wish I could say that your situation was the norm across Victoria!

        Fair point. Just sucks, even Ballarat cinemas only charge $10. Load of crok if you ask me, my VMC is useless for the $9 ticket now…
