Talk to the guys at COTD online chat. They might refund you the difference in store credit. I have tried before.

COTD have refunded a significant price change with a store credit for me too. They are pretty helpful.

Now I only buy when 50% or more off, otherwise no, even if I missed out.Livechat was a very positive experience for me, even at midnight yesterday :)
They managed to cancel an order I made on Sunday, so I could re-order with the discount. If it was too late to cancel, they would have given me a store credit anyway.
I got onto live chat after midday today and managed to get the 10 % off still ( as a one time courtesy ;) )
Edit: actually, technically I got a bit more than 10 %
