      • Wow, thanks. More likely for the machine to break than me run out of capsules at this rate!

      • Oh man thank YOU! This deal becomes better and better :)

      • bought the same machine last year and registered for the free pods. it never come to me.

You need to email them again. Mine didn't come after the first registration because of the change over promotors but I emailed them again 2 weeks later all free capsules arrived.

As above, & posted in various deals, re-register - promoter was changed, resulting in orders not being sent. I re-registered & was promptly sent.

Kogan.com is an authorised distributor of this product. We guarantee that this product is authorised Australian stock and comes with a manufacturer warranty in addition to the Kogan.com warranty.
That's what I'll follow if it breaks.

Buy from eBay and pay by PayPal to get additional safeguards. I would never buy directly from Kogans website.

With this price I won't shed a tear if it breaks during 1 year but as they ship from Melbourne I will hold them up for the warranty.

And just now bought another to my mate as well :P

96 capsules are 6 packs of coffee. Coles is selling one pack for $7 this week, so 96 pods cost $42. If you have their coffee machine already, it's cheaper to buy the coffee capsules from Coles.

Or puts machine at $27 or $36 shipped.

    • No surprise there - coffee plus a machine is more expensive than coffee without a machine,

  • $9 shipping so $78 all up.

What's the expiry date on the capsules?

I've been stung before with a good deal, but found the Lavazza capsules had already expired & coffee lacked the taste that I expect from these capsules I use everyday.

machine itself retails on Lavazza's site at $99.99

Isn't this a discontinued model. Stores were selling them out last year to make room for new model, for as little as $25.

Regular $50 cashback & discounts on these machines mean many here made up to $25 profit buying this machine previously. We also got 32 free capsules per machine. Better Lavazza machines have sold for just a bit more than cashback in other deals.

The coffee capsules might be worthwhile, assuming long expiry date, but are the basic / cheapest in the range, not the better ones.

It might be worth holding off until next cashback deal.

    • I find these pods taste better than Nespresso pods but the built quality of the machine is not as good as the Nespresso machines. They are not the cheapest pods for sure if you have looked around for those pods compatible with Nespresso machines.

      • Unpacking a new $175RRP model ($9 delivered), the reservoir toppled over on the bench, breaking the hinge before I had even used it :(

This is a 'compact' machine suited to making few coffees per day, in a limited space location.

Drip tray capacity is small. Used capsule needs to be removed, rather than fall into a bin as with other Lavazza machines I've used. (I haven't used this machine - I gave it away.) Water reservoir is 500ml. Those limitations may be a pain.

In comparison, the Lavazza Favola model I use takes 12 pods in its bin, has a suitable sized large drip tray & almost twice the reservoir. Much better build. That deal cost $6 after cash back last year (supplied with 12 pod selection pack, redeemed further 32 pods free).

Just something to consider. May not suit all users.

    • Thankfully I make one coffee a day in the morning & no-one else drinks coffee, otherwise I'd be disappointed with it from the sound of things!

        Sounds ideal for your needs.

A large drip tray & bin is not ideal for the person who drinks few coffee & is lazy (like me)… I sometimes forget to empty it daily. So kitchen can smell of stale coffee ☕.
