Yeh last time i got excited over these shipping was a killer. I found a site called GOPET.NET.AU
The biscuits i get for my dogs are $30 cheaper (everyday prices) per bag and free shipping for orders over $65. They arrived 2 days after ordering which was quicker then i thought it would be. May need to check for your particular food/item but even 20% off doesnt get it down to these prices for me….

$15 dollars for shipping a single flea treatment? online retailers should kick themselves for gouging at checkout as I've left thousands of dollars of orders incomplete due to exorbitant shipping charges. Blanket shipping charges are stupid too - why should i contribute for someone else to get a fully inflated bouncing castle delivered? Postal technology is advanced enough that you can get fair shipping prices per item. If a retailer is happy to bend you over for shipping charges then it means they don't care or consider their customers stupid.
Just goes to show how much your 'down the road' retailers mark things up. Suckers pay retail (which should be ozbargain's moto) :)

Wow…you are right…shipping is a killer. $20 postage for a 6 pack of sentinel. When I have ordered from other sites they usually collapse the box and send it in a normal envelope. How the hell can these guys justify $20!!!

For some items, the discount showed as a saving that was removed from the total.
For some reason the code gave me free shipping and took my $41 order down to $32 for a product that was already 20% off.
how can this be expired when it said expires on SUNDAY. looks like they're having website issues _ out of resources, wordpress hosting or something?!

The Petbarn story at the moment is an interesting one. Goldcross vets (a publicly listed company) bought them in 2013. Since then they have been buying out small pet shops around the country (as well as some large ones like City Farmers). There are like 4 pet barns within a 10 minute drive from me now. Looks like they are slowly trying to become the Colesworths of the pet industry
