  • That's cheap. The best price I've found in the past was $39.95 at Auto One a few months ago, and even that price was unheard of.

I should go and buy 20 of these.

    • how does Penrite Full Synthetic HPR 10 5L for $40 sound?

      • What kind of car do you have?

I'd say the equivalent oil would be the Penrite Ten Tenths Racing oil, not their standard synthetic.

The Nulon has a lot of zinc in it which is good for big end bearings, also has an organic compound called 'Molybdenum Dithiocarbamate' which is supposed to help with cold start up, which is when most engine damage would occur.

In my S14 200sx I switched from the Penrite Ten Tenths to Nulon, the car started easier, idled better and overall felt happier and ran better.

I use my car for racing and do between 8-10 oil changes per year, the Nulon is all I use.

Not to mention, at prices like this it's almost half the cost of the Penrite Ten Tenths.

This or Castrol Edge when on half price sale?

    • Great price for a full syn oil. Been using Castrol Edge for both cars. Prefer sticking to the same brand rather than to save a few bucks. Edge comes down to $30-35 once a year though.
