How can you possibly offer a discount on a government fee?
Goverment fee which call "Stamping fee". It was discount from 23 Nov 2015 by Vietnam Goverment.
This coupon for service feeWhy do we have to pay for the service? No VOA?
So what happens is you need to get a letter with your name on it and a stamp from the visa agency, then you present that letter to the VOA office and pay an extra fee on top - $40 USD I think.
If you go to Vietnam and don't have that letter beforehand, you won't get a visa.
This is original. I've always wanted to visit Vietnam. How much is the "stamping fee" anyway?
Stamping fee from 23Nov was discounted from 45usd to 25usd with 1 month/3months single entry, with 1 month/3 months multiple was down from 95usd to 45usd
Can't view your website, get an error when trying to view it.
Just need to get a visa for family member first time and wondering if this is a good deal ?
Yes, you can apply for all member of your family, because each person in your family needs a visa
what is the difference between getting visa through www.vietnamvisatour.com or through Vietnam Embassy in Australia ?
You can totaly go to Vietnam Embassy in Australia and wait to get actual visa with them, and with www.vietnamvisatour.com, you do not need move, you can apply and get visa approval letter online and get actual visa at Vietnam Airports (save time, save money..)
thanks for the reply.
So, my understanding is that Embassy issue the visa, but www.vietnamvisatour.com provide only visa approval letter ?
I read that visa from Embassy cost A$75-95.Visa approval letter from www.vietnamvisatour.com cost US$32.50 ($25+$7.50), but will wee need to pay extra for getting visa on arrival in Vietnam or not ?
double post
@Sidor: Dear, via www.vietnamvisatour.com, you must pay two types fee ( service fee and Stamping fee ). Serice fee cut down from 15usd to 7,5usd if you use promotion code ( get visa approval letter from us ). And when you arrival Vietnam Airport, you will pay 25usd for customs officer to get actual visa ( total: 7.5usd + 25usd = 32.5usd/Pax )
Is this legit?
Reading their website is scary enough… think i'll stick with the embassy.
…and presumably avoid a potential queue at the airport waiting for the actual Visa.
This website looks like a scam.
We just try to bring you the best, but I'm very sad because of you back to that we are trying to cheat. We always encourage our customers to come directly embassy if possible. We are so sorry about that.
Please work on your English because I have no idea what you're trying to say. What is this -> "but I'm very sad because of you back to that we are trying to cheat"??? Any professional customer service response shouldn't include personal opinion or worse (in your case, feelings). Please complete a basic English course before you return to ozb. Many thanks.
Regards,
Me
Frankly, the store rep from Vietnam should improve his English before advertising their service to our international friends. How can customers believe and feel safe when they read these unprofessional answers. Friendly is not enough for doing a business, wishing it'll be better next time.

Visa scams
The Australian Government has received reports of scams involving online visa applications and applications through travel agents for a ‘visa on arrival’ approval letter. The Australian Government is also aware of reports of applicants’ personal details being made public after applying for a ‘visa on arrival’ approval letter, either online or through a travel agent.
Due to these risks, the Australian Government recommends that you apply for a visa for Vietnam directly from the nearest Embassy or Consulate of Vietnam.I think the other member's concerns are valid
OMG.. Visa have SALE??
