Came across this whilst grabbing some snacks from my local Coles. Haven't played it before, but according to a couple of reviews online it's apparently more fun than the original Monopoly (far less tedious and time consuming). Not bad for $3.

  I bought 2 packs when it was $7. It's a lot of fun for monopoly fans, better than UNO imho.

    According to the receipt, it says Macquarie Fields 2154. Which is NSW.

      Imagine going to someones house first time, and saying be nice to me, yeah thats a great way to start a relationship!!

      Maybe we should introduce an immediate ban for those who use that line, it is SOOO offensive

          @bahoogas: I don't think it's offensive as much as the fear of having your first deal voted down and/or attracting unpleasant comments.

          I think we should probably encourage new posters to not put that line in their first submission but I don't think it's a huge problem though, certainly not ban-worthy.

  I am actually quite bewildered at that reaction there at what I thought initially was rather an inconspicuous line - it certainly wasn't intended to offend or infer anything about the ozbargain community at all so apologies if it did. A simple removal of the offending line would of sufficed, however the additional comments on the post from the mods now infer that I personally insulted this community. Certainly not the kind of welcome that I was expecting from the moderators here….

  I thought under the national pricing scheme all Coles products were to be the same price across the nation. Does this mean that they are just leaving everything as was and putting "clearance" on products at the cheaper stores? Not attacking OP, great post :)

    I think you'll find they promise the same pricing across the State, not the Nation.

    Yeah, there is a difference between items on Special and items on Clearance. With a Special it is normally advertised in the catalogue and most likely be found nationwide, a Clearance is an item discounted on a per-store basis only.

  For the people who have actually bought this are you getting them from NSW stores (all I can see is the OP getting it from Macquarie Fields 2154)?

  Good deal if you can get it. I checked two VIC stores and they have plenty of stock but sadly at full price $11.95 :-(
