Price on shoes I was considering buying yesterday - $35, were $40 before that, on sale today $42!
Bought sandals over a week back at $20, now $24!
Those were sale prices, not clearance.
So prices have been put up to Rivers inflated prices, & reduced by 40% to generally dearer prices than you'll often find.
But the vote count keeps going up.

I do know that the boxer shorts I normally get were $7.00 last week, now show as $7.00 less 40% $4.20. Seems accurate to my balls, and that’s all that matters.
If $7 is normal full price, then its less 40% :)
Rivers set the full price, which seems high on some items, given the quality & other factors. Other items are quite cheap at full price - like the shorts.
My comment was about the items with seemingly inflated full price that are regularly discounted.
That makes sale prices appear more attractive. Some other retailers that only stock their own home brand do the same.
But compared to usual sale prices, its dearer for the items I checked. Those have been reduced for ages in different sales.
Those shoes for $42 in this sale are back to $35, as they were before this sale!
Let me guess, gaming consoles and apple products excluded… Typical rivers sale…
