Games on Sale (Little Inferno $1.38, 50% off Selected Final Fantasy Games + More) @ Play Store

120

I had a look at App-Sales website and a lot of games on play store were on sale, I assume it's Christmas sales.
So I decided to lump them all together and post it.
Square Enix and Warner Bros. are having sales on some of their games on Play Store along with other companies.

Please do note that Final Fantasy series (excluding Tactics) and Chrono Trigger probably wouldn't work with Lollipop and up (Apparently it has issues with ART Runtime) according to Square Enix.

  • Which Final Fantasy is a good one for someone who's never played that series before?

    • +3

6 is generally regarded as the best one.

      • +1

Definitely 6! No.4 is considered the 2nd best but if you've never played any of the FF games I would recommend playing No.1 first to get a basic understanding of the game mechanics and FF Lore.

    • 3 and 4 have updated graphics so are definitely easier on the eye.

      • 4 is good. I played the version on vita that is less of an upgrade as this one and I had fun.

Playing 3 atm and that is pretty good too.

  • Btw, does anybody know how to, or whether it is, possible to add coloured borders into the table?

    • Don't think I've ever seen coloured borders on Ozbargain..

thanks op..time to use my telstra credit

  • Maybe use an android PSX / SNES emulator to run the ISO backups of the PSX gmaes you own etc.

    • True, I thought about that and thought about posting it on the forum instead.
Then I realised that you technically get renewed graphic for some of them and touch optimised UI (which I assume runs like an arse, but still it's still there). That said, I think emulation is an option as well.

      • Hey you posted a sweet deal. From experience those emulators work surprisingly well, and also can up the graphics rendering if your hardware is up to it. Also can use a gamepad or PS3 controller.

        • Eh, you raised a decent point. Emulators run perfectly fine on many devices (it did so with older devices) and they are not that taxing especially if it is like SNES one. Plus gamepads are better for these games than touch UI most of the times.

That's one reason why I've merged it with other deals as well.

  • Thanks. I was waiting for FFT to go half price

  • Chrono Trigger.. best game ever!!!
