ALDI, Adult or Junior Swimming Goggles - $6.99. Anti FOG, Good Quality

200

Aldi or Junior Swimming Goggles ,

Thought they weren't that great before but used them and then went and bought another one. IMO They are are good as any from Zooggs or the other big brand ones that I had before.

For 6.99 Can't go wrong. Much better than taking a risk on Ebay or elsewhere.

Remember the 60 Days money back, Plenty of stock at the 2 aldi's I've been to.

  • Was going to buy speedos tomorrow for $50, on your recommendation i'll try these first.
    Cheers OP

  • Were these special buys a few weeks ago? Had sold out when I checked a couple of days later at my local Aldi (Carnegie). OP, at which Melb stores did you see stock recently? Very keen to get some :-)

    • Point Cook and Altona Meadows

      • Hmmm, not so close! Thanks anyway. Never mind, will keep a lookout closer.

  • Is this available tomorrow or was it a Wednesday to Friday special ?

    • was from last week, earlier you go the better I guess

I bought 2 pairs of these last year…. they are very comfortable and watertight, comprable to $20 speedos, however , on both pairs the silicone disintegrated (almost looked like it had melted). I can only assume the Aldi sunscreen I was using reacted overtime with the silicone.

I've bought another pair for this season in the hope they've upgraded their materials. In the meantime, hang on to your receipt.

    • I have bought several pairs of goggles off eBay for around the same price. After a year, they're still going strong. Silicon, anti-fog, snug fit, wide angle of vision. Have used them for about 10kms of swimming.

YMMV of course, but the only thing i'd keep an eye on is scratching on the lenses.

at $7, it's worth a gamble particularly if you aren't doing a lot of swimming. I bought two on a previous sale and they I found them to be wanting. Anti-fog was poor and the fit wasn't great - leaked after a few hundred metres but what doesn't fit one person can certainly fit another good. I'm now using Aqua Sphere Kaiman exo - they are amazing, but wasn't much shy of $40.

    • I bought a pair of Aqua Sphere Kaiman exo off eBay for $18.79, delivered from the UK - they appear to be legit. They were awesome! They are definitely nicer than my $7 eBay goggles - and i'm guessing they are less prone to scratching.

  • Any of these with lenses in them, for the ocularly-challenged people?

      Who wrote that?!

    • Naah no lenses to correct for numbers, you might want to try Ali express if you can wait..

  • waiting for aldi in WA….. :)
